Galapagos Pelican

From my trip to the Galapagos Islands... A pelican on the rocks.

I was in Ecuador for a semester of college and traveled to the Galapagos Islands with the group of exchange students.

We were on a small boat that sailed from one tiny island to the next. Often I went barefoot on the excursions.

I remember the penguins, the blue-footed boobies, the barren lava fields and the zillions of stars at night.

I also remember being too claustrophobic to snorkel with the sea lions.

Here I painted a pelican with our boat in the background.

I hope you enjoy this very old classic painting.

Pursue Your Peace,
