Street2Creek asked me to redo the storm drain art in front of the Colonial Courthouse in York.
Despite a rainstorm that split my painting into two days, I did get to finish it this past week.

Inspired by a photo from my father’s friend, Alvin. Read the short story behind the painting.
We Survived COVID!
My whole family had it at the very beginning of September. So I'm behind getting my classes up and running.
But fortunately we all recovered, and it means that I can't spread it or get it again for the next three months at least.Yay!
Getting back in the saddle after falling off of a horse is difficult I'm sure.
So is getting back to work after having a baby!
But I have a lot of support from my art amigos. So thank you very much!
Here's what to watch for coming in 2020...
My second oil painting... And really my last. I haven't finished any other oil painting in the last 20 years.
This was my first oil painting. I painted it over twenty years ago while I was living in New Mexico.
Twenty three years ago I went to the Galapagos Islands. This classic painting is of a Galapagos pelican on the rocks.
Dogwoods: Spring Glory is my first painting I did while in college. My major was physics, and I needed a break from that. So I painted in my free time.
Bluebird: Back Home was inspired from an old Virginia calendar.
In one picture I took, I caught my orange kitty laying next to the work in progress. I remember he kept me company a lot while I would paint.
Enjoy number five of my classic collection!
There is no such thing as a "big bad wolf."
Enjoy my fourth classic - Winter Wolf
Dogs: Like Mother, Like Son
My Third Classic Painting in the Classics Collection
These were my dogs. My precious black lab/ German shepherd mix and her puppy following her.
I have this painting hanging above my fireplace.
A very personal classic.
I have been painting for 25 years. So I decided that it's time for me to go through my paintings and reminisce.
I will be blogging about the paintings and their backstories. Join me on my journey.
